OMEGA-KS4 SIGNAL EXAMINATION CONVERTER
OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT FOR OMEGA

The OMEGA-KS4 converter is designed for examination of signals and interference in wire lines: AC power circuits with voltage up to 380 V, telephone lines, Ethernet networks, in which signals can be transmitted either without modulation or on carrying frequency.

When checking telephone lines or LAN wires, the device uses electronic commutation of examined pairs.

For examination of signals in the range up to 400 MHz, the device operates as a step-up frequency converter.

Examination of signals with frequencies higher than 400 MHz is done without frequency conversion.

After conversion, spectra of signals and interference in wire line can be examined using any spectrum analyzer, including that of the OMEGA radio monitoring system.

The spectrum analyzer, connected to the output of the OMEGA-KS4 converter, allows viewing general spectrum distribution of signals and
